It all began in Atlanta back in ’91 when I was 21. I went to a guy’s house to buy a digital-to-analog converter and there it was…crowning his audio system was a Sota Nova turntable in African rosewood with a vacuum platter, Sumiko SME V tonearm and Krell cartridge. I had never seen an ultra-high-end turntable before and this instrument was a breathtaking work of art! So instead of the DAC, I left with the turntable, even though I didn’t have any records and knew practically nothing about them (I grew up on cassettes and CDs). It was fate. As soon as I started collecting and listening to vinyl, I had found my passion.

Over the years, I’ve gone from a hardcore vinyl junkie to aspiring to become a renowned record dealer. I only buy and sell albums that I personally like and I’m very particular about the ones that I offer for sale on this site. I do have my idiosyncrasies. For example, I don’t mind cutout holes at all, but I have a downright phobia of clipped corners! I wish all my transactions could be made in person as I understand when buying over the internet you are unable to see and inspect an album before receiving it, so I’m very meticulous with condition and describing flaws. I want you to know exactly what you will be getting.

I’m always looking for more records (there’s no place I’d rather be than at a record show) and I spend a lot of time listening to stuff on YouTube to expand my musical horizons. My personal stash consists mostly of albums from the ’80s-’90s (The Cure, The Smiths…). I especially like female-fronted groups. My favorite sound is the fuzz tone!
